We need to make our voices heard! How do we do that?
Call Your Legislator!
If you are an Illinois voter, please call your Illinois State Senator and Representative and tell them to vote to raise the minimum wage in Illinois! The bill number to raise the minimum wage is Senate Bill 68. Legislators getting direct calls from voters about specific issues they care about is a very effective way of holding them accountable and getting them to pay attention to your concerns. Click here to find your Illinois State Senator and Representative and give them a call! All you have to say is that you would like them to raise the minimum wage by voting for Senate Bill 68!
Trips To Springfield!
We also make frequent bus trips to Springfield during the legislative session to speak to elected officials about the importance of raising the minimum wage. If you would like to attend, please email mfrosolone@actionnow.org

Tell Your Story!
Are you a low-wage worker struggling to make ends meet? Let us know! We need as many workers as possible to tell their story of what it’s like to try to survive on minimum wage. Your stories expose the struggles of millions of working Americans and they are very compelling and inspiring to supporters of the campaign as well as legislators.
You can email your story to our Communications Director Aileen Kelleher at akelleher@actionnow.org

Raise wages please!
